New York Pizza Fleming Island

Came here once in March 2025 when we first moved here and were looking for our go-to pizza spot and weren’t impressed. We found another spot nearby we liked much more after that and had our go-to pizza place locked in. But they just changed their hours and aren’t open on Sunday so we decided to give NY another shot. NY is still expensive, still mediocre. The pizza crust is so dang chewy, the cheese doesn’t taste like much, and the $3.40 charge for a sprinkle of pretty old tasting spinach (or whatever topping) and the $1 charge for ANY sauce cups is absolutely ridiculous to me. If I’m spending more than $25 for a basic pie you can price one sauce cup into your profit margin. Plus the nearly $3 service charge?? I understand the economy is rough right now but somehow two 18-inch pies with one extra topping each and two orders of garlic knots is over $80. I did the math and could get the same exact order at our go-to pizza spot for $45 bucks. Nearly half the price, and better tasting, with more friendly service. My husband and I were totally shocked. Our family’s top place for pizza in the area! Always hot and consistently pretty tasty!! The interior could probably use some love, but staff is so friendly and food is great!

I have been here several times and the pizza is amazing. Closest to NY pizza. Adriana, is so refreshing to see for a young woman. She is passionate about her family’s business and cares about the customers. Our pizza was a little well done when they took it out so she gave us that one and another one to make up for it. Now this girl gets customer service. We didn’t even ask. Definitely will be back and recommend for others to try

Great Pizza. Super flavorful. I loved it because it wasnt super greasy!!! Would have been 5 years but they charge over 3 dollars per topping. A bit steep to sprinkle a few black olives on a pie. The buffalo fries were the best fries I have ever had.

Update: got the caesar salad; t was delicious! For my lunch of 2 slices of pizza (BBQ and chicken & ranch), 2 garlic knots, and a drink, it was just over $10. It was plenty of food for the price. The pizza was really good, my favorite being the ranch one. The garlic knots were amazing, as well as the garlic butter drizzled over them. Their drinks right now ate bottled only, but a variety to choose from including Gatorade, soda, energy drinks, tea, or water. The restaurant was clean and modern. The staff were friendly and efficient in their service.
